Summer is now in full swing and everyone is looking to infuse family friendly art, music, and books into a normal routine. Our new homes in Elgin have not only the incredible Highland Woods pool and Owner’s Club to enjoy, but the added bonus of free, family friendly summer events. Here are just a few ideas to encourage you to get out and try something new this summer. 
Art
Art & Soul on the Fox is a free Fine Arts Fair hosted in downtown Elgin that provides a venue for local, skilled artisans to showcase their art, as well facilitate fun children’s activities. Parking is also free. This year’s art fair will be held on:
Saturday, August 6, 2016 ~ 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
Sunday, August 7, 2016 ~ 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Music
Elgin Symphony Orchestra’s Sunday Family Concerts
The Elgin Symphony Orchestra is bringing Sunday Family Concerts to Gail Borden Public Library this summer. The concerts will feature small ensembles of ESO musicians that will foster the fundamentals of music while intertwining stories and interactive participation. Pre-concert activities include crafts and will begin an hour before the start of the concert.
