We’re just about halfway through spring training, and the Chicago Cubs’ first game is less than a month away. Coming off of the first Cubs World Series win in 108 years, we’re more excited for this season than ever.

Opening Day
The Cubs’ first game is April 2 in St. Louis against the Cardinals. Then on April 10, the Cubs return to Wrigley Field for the home opener. For the full schedule and tickets, go here.

New Players
Brett Anderson, Pitcher
After last year’s season with the L.A. Dodgers where he only made four appearances due to back surgery, his main goal for spring training is to stay healthy. He’s currently battling it out with Mike Montgomery for the number 5 starting spot.
Places to Watch
If you didn’t snag tickets to go to the game, there are plenty of place to watch the Cubs in Wrigleyville. Even if you did go to the game, the celebration will always continue after a win. Some of our favorite Wrigleyville bars are:
