Got a case of cabin fever and itching to get out of the house with the kids this weekend? Here’s a few family friendly spots in and near Naperville that we recommend as a guaranteed remedy for the winter blahs.
An indoor amusement park that offers something for just about everyone! The kiddos will love the the Exploration Adventure section where they can burn off some energy jumping in ball pits, crawling through tunnels and navigating mazes. The older kids will love the arcade and the laser tag arena!
Ultimate NInjas is an indoor obstacle and agility course for kids ages 6 to 15 and a great place get some exercise and have a lot of fun. Visit their website for Open Play hours and reserve a 1 or 2 hour time slot.
With three floors of interactive exhibits, and innovative programs, fun Learning Labs, and even a S.M.A.R.T. Café, DuPage Children’s Museum is a terrific place to spend the day with the kids!
Family teamwork! If you have kids over age 14 check out Hidden Escapes. A group of 2-8 people are locked in a room, and in order to get out, they must work together to search the room, find clues, work out the puzzles, and find the key or code that allows them to escape!
This family-friendly play center features a 4 level structure with slides and obstacles, a giant ball pit, ball blasting arena, an interactive floor, a kids tractor area AND an Imagination Playground. WHEW! Quick Tip: the first kid at the Ball Factory receives free admission, so get there early and you may save a few bucks!
