The company's roots stretch back to 1961, when Walter Overstreet first began his career as a carpenter and contractor. He started learning all he could and began to build up his construction knowledge and skills.

With a few years of experience under his toolbelt, Walter launched a modest home building company and established a reputation for exceptional bespoke homes.

Walter was dependable and trustworthy, and passed his integrity and love of the construction world onto his children and grandchildren. Doug Overstreet, Walter's son, spent hours on job sites starting at the age of 10. Greg, Doug's son, shared a similar experience. And Jessica Overstreet describes herself as having "sawdust in my blood."

This love of the trade is what drives Overstreet Builders to this day. It's also why the company has such a strong commitment to quality. We aren't just building homes, we're crafting legacies.

Not only does the Overstreet family build homes for our customers, we build homes for ourselves. Using the same materials, subcontractors and process, you can be sure that we're only putting our name on homes that we'd be proud to live in ourselves.

We have homes ranging from around $600,000 to well over a million dollars. The majority of our customers choose one of the floor plans available and adapt it to meet their family's needs and lifestyle.
