Since homes are built by humans with natural materials, small tolerances are normal. We and our local experts have built your home above industry standards, but if a concern arises, the Residential Construction Performance Guidelines, a third-party resource by the National Association of Home Builders, is our reference for tolerances. Any issue that is considered unacceptable by this resource or Overstreet Builders will be addressed as a warranty claim at 30 days from closing and again at one year. Check your contract for more warranty details.
ALWAYS CALL IN THE CASE OF AN EMERGENCY! Please DO NOT email for emergency service.
For emergencies, please contact the following vendors:
All other non-emergency service items can call (630) 226-0460 and dial extension 212.
Warranty requests will be handled by Overstreet Builders through Buildertrend, an online platform for logging claims and scheduling repairs. Homeowners will be emailed instructions on how to access their homeowner portal on Buildertrend after closing. From the portal, homeowners will submit warranty claims and must include a picture and detailed description of the issue. The service manager at Overstreet Builders will work with the homeowner and contractors on scheduling repairs.
You can download the BuilderTrend app to easily submit warranty requests for your 30-day and 1-year warranties. Watch the 2-min video below to learn how to submit a claim. You can also access Buildertrend at www.buildertrend.net
